China and the United States are the two largest economies in the world, the continued trade frictions and conflicts between the two sides not only pose a serious threat to the two economies, but also significantly hinder the recovery and growth of the world economy. The Philippines is the main trading partner of China and the United States, the Sino-U.S. trade war will have an impact on the Philippines’ trade and even the economy. This article discussed the current status of the China-U.S. trade war and the impact of the Sino-U.S. trade war on the Philippine economy and presented countermeasures and suggestions about it.
