This paper introduces a simple and fast method for the production of 1:2000 Belt Topographic Map for road design. This method uses the information of the existing road control point, and the operation of the Google Earth is based on the collection of scattered points, the exhibition points, projection transformation and so on. Using the South CASS software, CMAP software and other mapping software to product line with the accuracy requirements of the 1:2000 Belt Topographic Map. It provides convenience for road design in the feasibility study stage.
