Under the macro background of the thriving digital economy and accelerated industrial upgrading, applicationoriented talents who major in economy and management now require inter-disciplinary practical capabilities and strong industry adaptability. This paper, adopting a collaborative education perspective and particularly taking the practices of Liaoning University of Science and Technology as a case study, conducts a thorough investigation into innovative talent development models involving multiple participants, which contain university-research institution cooperation, university-local governments collaboration and university-enterprise partnerships. The research findings demonstrate that a series of measures, such as restructuring the curriculum system, establishing an industry-led discipline adjustment mechanism, and refining evaluation criteria for “double-qualified teachers”, can significantly enhance the alignment between talent supply and industry demands. This study provides valuable practical references and theoretical foundations for cultivating application-oriented talents in economic and management disciplines.
