Llewellyn’s theory of group dynamics holds that a person’s behaviour is the result of the interaction between the individual’s intrinsic needs and the external forces of the environment, and is the combined effect of various factors in the group such as group goals, group norms, group pressure, group cohesion, and so on. College students, as a group highly expected by the society, the lack of spiritual motivation is not only manifested in the lack of individual motivation, but also in the lack of spiritual motivation of the whole college students’ group; the cultivation of their spiritual motivation is not only embodied in the individual, but also in the strengthening of the spiritual motivation of the whole college students’ group. Exploring the cultivation of college students’ spiritual motivation from the perspective of group motivation is of great significance to both college students’ groups and individuals.
