Fragmented information dissemination is a typical form of current information dissemination, which directly affects the way and habits of people receiving information and reading materials. The impact of information fragmentation is very extensive, and it also directly affects the English learning of college students. This article aims to analyze the impact of information fragments on college English learning and the measures that should be taken. The research in this paper finds that under the influence of information fragmentation, it is more convenient for college students to learn English and their interest in learning is enhanced. But at the same time, the fragmentation of information has also caused the lack of deep learning habits, and is not conducive to exploring the unknown field of English learning. Facing the impact of information fragmentation on English learning, colleges should take measures to guide students to think deeply, and college students should screen sources, improve the quality of information and build a complete knowledge system.
